just purchased a cpp500 box

the car is a 57 2door 210, manual steering. what mods do you have to do to the stock column to make it work.
i also bought a rag joint. was gonna tackle it this weekend.
it looks like the column shaft run right in the manual box.
this is a column shift . any help would be appreicated

The shaft does run out of the box and all the way up to the steering wheel. You will have to do some measuring and then cut the shaft somewhere outside the gear box.
