Max Tire Sizing

Hello,

I have a 56 Wagon and want to know the max size rear tires I can run. I am using an Alston 4 link in the rear, so basically the question is what is the max size that will fit in the stock wheel wells without tubbing. I am planning on using Torque Thrust D 15" x 10", 3.75" backspace, with a 295 tire. I looked at the tire calculator and with the correct rear end width (55.5"), it says I will have 0.4 inch on either side. Is anyone running this big of tires in the stock wheelwells? Any advice?
