Well my dad recently gave me a 1956 210 2 door wagon. It is in many peices. He also has a 1955 Bel Air 2 Door Post. It is much closer to running but he is rebuilding the motor. I look forward to being a part of the this forum.

Yeah, I am 27 and he has owned it since long before I was born. I have never seen this vehicle move under its own power, a problem I hope to remedy.

hey earl, where ya from? It's kinda nice to know where people are from, it's not important, just interesting.

I'd like to see what you mean that it's all in pieces...take some pics for us, we'd really like to see 'em.

Thanks.

Im in Wichita, KS. Ill try to take some pics. The front clip is off, the motor is out, and all of the trim is off. I haven't looked at the interior yet.

Wichita, eh! I'm jealous of everyone, yes everyone, from the middle part of the country, including Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois (okay, maybe not Illinois), and any others that I forgot to mention. I went all the way to Iowa to get my 57, got one that was built in Wisco, and brought it down here as a great big expensive souvenir of the midwest!

Can't wait to see your pics, earl! :)

Take some "wide shots" for me, will ya?

Earl that wagon looks to be in pretty good shape. Is it as decent as it looks? Terry.

Looks like a great "foundation" -- what does the inside look like?

Thanks for the photos! :)

the inside looks okay, seat covers are a bit old but look good to me. there are 3 body spots that are so so. one is where it was dented behind the drivers door down low and the body guy just slathered it in bondo instead of pulling the dent right, the other is on the tail gate where he did the same thing after the straps broke and the dumb owner just let it fall on the bumper guards. Mind you all of this happened long before I was even a sparkle in my daddy's eye. Dad had had the car for years, before I was born, but he is not the one who did those things. I think he drag raced in it at one point. We are going to rebuild a 327 that he pulled out of his 55 and put it in there.
