Trying to come up with some fun car related games for a hotrod cookout/gettogether. Piston toss and head to head spark plug change. Anyone got any ideas?

Hafrod: Our club had several games at our car shows, one was stacking solid lifters straight up, another was valve cover races, people would build "cars" using valve covers with a max weight of say 10 pounds and one of our members built a two lane track with adjoining starter pins like the soapbox derby tracks, great fun. another was creeper races.

Game of washers. 2- 2'x2' square of 1/2 inch plywood, piece of 2x4 on edge under one end of each piece of plywood, cut 4" hole in center of plywood squares. Get 6 1" washers and paint 3 red and 3 white. Spread boards about 15 or 20 feet apart and toss washers trying to get them in holes. Score like horseshoes.

We went to a show once where they had pictures of an original part of a car, such as a hood ornament, outside rear view mirror, tail light, etc. The original picture was copied in black & white and passed out. We had a lot of fun trying to guess the correct answers as to what the original car was.
Thanks...Bob

I remember doing a "lifter toss" at a car show a long time ago. Try to get them in a 5 gallon bucket or maybe an old oil pan.
