How to remove the convertible top pump?

I am trying to remove the pump however the T fittings at the pump do not lend themselves to easy removal. I can't unscrew the fitting because it tries to twist the hoses with it. This is a major PIA. Any tips?

Remove the rear seat and piston covers. Disconnect the hoses from the cyls and plug both the cyl and the hoses. Remove the hose retaining clips.
Disconnect the pump electrical connector, pry pump out of mounting grommets and remove pump with lines attached. Remove lines on bench.

Thanks for the tip! I was trying to avoid doing all that :) I was able to get the lines free. It turns out since that fitting has been tight for 50+ years it was just turning as one unit. I held the T-block from turning with a pair of pliers while I loosened the fitting and it broke free.
