brake drums

hey guys
anyone know if the front drums are the same as the rear
i dont have any drums on the rear.
i have front drums with new brakes.
but i want to go with disc brakes on the front

The drums are the same front and rear, just make sure you get a good quality not the junk from China with balance wieghts spot welded to them.
My buddy put a set of the cheap ones on his 57 and they were nothing but trouble and even cut into his backing plates when he made turns.

i am going to use the original ones from the front on the rear

are the brake shoes the same i have brand new ones on the front

never been used
