Thanks Guys, I know we will all have lots of fun here.
Otis
And I'll tell you why we'll have fun -- when ya ain't got nobody breathin' down yer neck, when yer free to 'spress yersef without bein' o'feared of da man, ya can have one heck of a time!
I've never understood the "no links to ebay" or "no for sale or wanted" policies of other forums, but I don't second guess them -- it's up to the 'owners' to make the rules. But, when I came here and saw how open and free this site is, my first concern was "boy will this place get abused" but I was wrong, wrong, wrong! We have a great bunch of people here, all pitching in to help, amuse, and share...that's what it's all about.
One huge "Thanks" goes out to this board!!!

I agree -- those kids in their 20's on this site must be protected. If we don't protect them, who will?! :):):)

I was just telling my wife this evening how "civil" this place is compared to some other, non-chevy, sites that I visit on occasion. Seems like there are lots of people out there just dying to pick a fight with just about anybody that comes along -- that's not very productive, and this site is dedicated to the advancement of the hobby. Let's keep it up!
this site is great and helpful
lets keep that way
we are tri lovers(rust and all)

They sound funny at first then the next thing you know we have a political debate starting.
Thanks for understanding

I find this site refreshing. I guess I must missed something, huh? No matter, most of that dribble doesn't amount to much more than a pinch of monkey mess. Keep up the good work!

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are callingFrom glen to glen, and down the mountain sideThe summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide. But come ye back when summer's in the meadowOr when the valley's hushed and white with snow'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadowOh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.And if you come, when all the flowers are dyingAnd I am dead, as dead I well may beYou'll come and find the place where I am lyingAnd kneel and say an "Ave" there for me.And I shall hear, tho' soft you tread above meAnd all my dreams will warm and sweeter beIf you'll not fail to tell me that you love meI'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.I'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.

Good afternoon gents! I think I was sent an email to make sure that I check in 'to say hello', after being here for a month or so. I didn't think twice about it, since all of the information provided to me when I had a question came without any 'drama'. I have to comment once more that this is THE website that other websites/forums should be so lucky to have such great people behind it. I haven't met anyone here in person yet, but it seems that we're all here to promote a positive atmosphere in which to give/receive advice, help out other people that might be less knowledgeable but still have the same 'love' for their cars, and not reduce ourselves to a petty internet quarrels. There is such a good balance here between having debates and not allowing it to get out of hand when two or more people disagree on something. Fortunately, this site seems to have people behind it with truly good hearted nature willing to spend the time to help others in similar situations. It's one thing to have a site that has this much help and info., but to be able to provide it and have such positive nature behind it, it shows others that something like this can be achieved without the immature responses that one would find somewhere else when people get into arguments on the internet. Talk about an exercise of futility!
I just wanted to express my gratitude and once again say thanks to all you folks that keep this site up to snuff and on the up and up!
Keep up the great work!
Jay
I try to play by the rules when I can !

I couldn't agree more...there's enough of that everywhere else in our lives. We should be able to talk cars straight and clean.
Too many cars...too little time.

The rules and policies of this site are why I spend a lot of my free time reading all the useful information that one can find in this location. I've been to a lot of different sites (Both auto and motorcycle) and this is without a doubt my favorite. Thank you to all who help to make this the quality site that it truly is. :tu
