I purchased some FatMat sound deadener for my '62 Corvette, and wondered if anyone else has used the product on the floor of a Corvette. I contacted the supplier, and was told it is used all the time on Vette's, and can be removed, if necessary, with lighter fluid. I was told it will not affect fiberglass. Just wondering if anyone has used it, and if you were happy with the results. Figured since I was replacing the carpet, and would have the interior gutted, it would be the perfect time to use some sound deadener. Thanks for your comments.

I used in my 55 with no issues but it does not seem like something I would want to remove especially with lighter fluid on a vette floor. All of these products seem to be at least semi-permante. It really reduced my floor noise and made the car seem more solid.
