I just had my 55 painted and I want to know if it's possible to bolt the front fendes on without the inner fender panels attached.....then install later once I clean up the frame/etc. Without the inner panels attached I can get inside the fender and perform alot of cleaning..once done I'll install the panels and hopefully don't have to take the front fenders off to do so. I'll have the Body shop line everything up before taking it home so I really don't want to take the fenders off again if possible....please advise. Thanks for input!

Yes, you can do that. There are a few bolts that you will have to use bolt and nuts in that you don't when the inners are in. A few have the nuts welded to the inner fender. So use bolt and nuts until the inner fenders go in and then use the correct bolts when you put the inners in.
