Hi all, we donated my late dad's floor jack to a transportation museum (http://history.alberta.ca/reynolds/), which also has a restoration shop.

The jack is a Blackhawk S4, a real man's floorjack! Our wish was it be restored and put back into use around the restoration shop which would be the perfect place for it.

Unfortunately the main lifting arm had been damaged and repaired at one time and it is not safely servicable. I need a replacement arm, and I know there is one out there somewhere. I managed to find a photo of an S4 online with no cylinder, which would be perfect as perhaps the lifting arm is still good. The jack is scrap without the cylinder.

I'm hoping my friends here can look around their garages, auctions, scrap heaps, junk piles or talk to their neighbors to help me source one of these.

It is not going to be easy but perhaps one of you knows of that guy around the corner who collects jacks or just has a lot of stuff laying around and may have what I need.

I have checked here (http://blackhawkparts.com/) and another similar place with no luck.

There are a few pics of a similar unit here (http://garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79822&highlight=Blackhawk+jack).

Sure hope someone out there knows of one or can alert me if and when one comes up for sale.

Many thanks!
