I was 2 years old in 1955, and my folks owned a little country store at the time. It would be like a convenience store now. The first car I really remember was a 55 Chevy. What got my attention was the grill. Probably cuz it was at eye level then. I can still picture it like it was yesterday. I had never seen anything so shiny and cool. I was enthralled with it, my dad had to come and pull me from in front of the car so the customer could leave without running me over. I also remember it was the Coral/grey color. I have been addicted to them ever since. My 1st car was a 55 2 dr post. Since then I have had a Cal. 2 dr hdtp, the one I should kept ya know, But I was young and stupid, etc, etc. I currently have a 210 2dr post i have had about 10 years. Had to put it on the back burner for awhile, didn't have the funds to do it right fast, so am trying to do it right slowly. We had alot of cool cars come in the store then. Dads friends coming to show off. But I can still close my eyes and see that grill shining. It's still my favorite part of the car .
