Anyone know where new door hinge covers can be acquired? Or an accurate drawing for one, so I can laser cut some. Taking old ones that are not flat and create a part from that is not good. Everyone on my 55 Delray is like that and I want them better. Any help would be appreciated.

No, it is a 2 door sedan and all need replacing on the door hinges. They are really distorted. CCI used to have a part available, but no longer and won't give me a drawing. I'm sure others have the same problem, what do they do?

Richard what covers are you talking about? The only thing on my hinges i would call a cover i guess are the Door jamb boxes. Is this what you are talking about?

There should be plenty of good used hinge covers out there, because they are the same for the front doors of 4 door sedans. Check Ebay or other used parts sources. I don't think you'll find repros on this item.

When you see the whole door hinge assy, there is a sheet metal piece that the mounting screws go through. Mine are all distorted, I want to replace them when I start work on my door. CCI used to have them available but don't now. I picked up an old one at a swap meet, but in removing it, it is still not a good pattern to make a drawing from. Guess I was curious about what others did. Just hammer them straight, I guess. Anyway I can create my own dwg, but I want it exact to the part and thought someone may have or know where I can or even a novel solution.
