Friend got lucky

My sprint racing friend got lucky. Like I thought last week when his engine blew up just before the finish line in a heat race. It had dropped an intake valve. It did ruin the head, piston had a hole and bent one rod. Maybe the bowtie blocks are worth having as it doesn't appear to have been hurt, Crank ok. Engine had run 8500 during the heat.

Yes expensive but could have been much worse. They are hoping to have it back by Sat. He borrowed an engine from a friend in Sioux Falls ran 5 th in feature, removed engine it went back to SF to race Sunday nite
