Body Mount Kit

Hello everyone. I am trying to mount my 55 body back onto the chassis. When I brought the car the body was already off and there was a new body mount kit with the car but no instructions. I am having a lot of trouble trying to get all the mounts lined up and the bolts in place. I am assuming that the mounts with the step on them sit on top of the chassis, and the flat ones go underneath. The kit has metal tubes to go in the middle, but with these in place it makes it very hard to get the bolts all in.

Has anyone got any hot tips or suggestions on how to go about mounting the body??

Tony look in the chevy factory specs section on this forum and open up the 55 manual. Look for the pics you need and that should help. Terry.

Thanks Terry, I didn't know that was there. It's a lot clearer than the shop manual I have. This should make life a bit easier.
