Tomorrow morning, my U.S. Army 1956 Chevy Suburban Carryall will be the lead vehicle in the Memorial Day Parade. My way of honoring our Nations Military Veterans and active duty soldiers. Take a few minutes tomorrow and think of our brave soldiers all over the world. My son-in-law is stationed in Baghdad. Say a prayer for all of them.

Copy that. We will never repay their sacrifice. We can darn sure honor them though.

It was a grand Parade. Thousands of people lined the small brick streets of Historic Sanford Florida. It was hot but we had our wing-window air conditioning going. Saw lots of Veterans and got many thumbs-up and "GO ARMY" from the crowd. A great day to honor our Military. Without them, we would not be having the BBQ's this afternoon. Thanks to all who Served.

:) I'm glad to hear that you were able to participate in the parade with your awsome truck. I'm kind of partial to the sentiment of the Memorial Parade since I am a 20 Year Navy Veteran. My wife was in for 3 years. My second oldest daughter is a 2nd Class Petty Officer (Builder) in the Navy Seabees. My oldest Son is a SGT in the Marines and my youngest son is a Navy Master-At-Arms, Explosive Ordinance and Disposal (EOD) Tech, Certified Navy Diver and Paratrooper. Daughter has been to IRAQ twice. My Marine son has been to Afghanistan and both sons are going to Iraq in Sep/Oct....Plus a hand full of in-laws as well as my Father were in the Military.:)

You are a true American Patriot Family for sure!! God Bless them all! My son-in-law is with the 4th ID in Baghdad. I just hope he gets home safe so he can see his first child born around new years. I try to do my part to honor our Military... thank for the kind words...
