We put a Super T 10 ( a 70's model)in dad's 55 with a bench seat. I ordered the shifter from Jegs. It's a hurst competition plus made for a 55 with bench seat. Been working just fine for about 6 Years.

You just need the Hurst or Mr. Gasket shifter for a 55-57. I don't know if they sell a Super T-10 version, but if they don't you can buy the Muncie version and then get the shifter arms and reverse rod for a Super T-10. I have a Mr. Gasket shifter and Super T-10 sitting on the floor with the shifter adapted this way. Works just fine.

I just installed a hurst 55-57 4 Speed shifter, it looked like it was made for a Kenworth Truck, I shortened it 7inchs, and it works just fine ,unless you drive with your sit all the way forward you do not need that huge 1/2 circle shifter sticking up in air. I run a M-20 4 speed.

There's a shifter on E-Bay that should work for you. Item number: 150191726005

When I had my '55 Bel Air, I installed a Muncie 4-speed with Hurst Competition-Plus shifter. The shifter arm was designed for a Trifive. It was shaped like a big "C" to clear the seat. The Hurst shifter that came with the Muncie had a short arm, so I found the "C" arm at a swap meet and grafted it in by taking the shift mechanism apart. I believe now Hurst uses a bolt-on arm. Mark

As far as I know the stick for the 55-57 shifter is not a bolt on, it's all built together. Reason is, the stick makes its first bend closer to the mechanism than the stub they use for the bolt on sticks.
