Waiting on parts.....sounds familiar. Still don't have my ABS Electric brake booster remote reservoir adapter and pumps that I sent back for exchange November 9th. They've had them for 6 weeks now. Latest is that they sent them to the wrong place, and they're trying to get them back. Plus, AAW still doesn't have my battery cables I ordered a couple months ago...they're saying January 15th now.

Marty, these guys are really frustrating to deal with. They tell you that they'll call, and they don't. When I call back, they tell me what I want to hear, regardless of whether it's true or not. The guy I talked to said he has tried to get ahold of the shop he sent the parts to, but nobody will answer the phone. So he sent a UPS call tag...they tried to pick up the parts once already but nobody there.
I asked why they can't just send me some other parts while they work to get those back. So he said they will if they can't get them "soon". I don't know what "soon" is for them. I'm off for the next 10 days and wanted to get the booster reservoir and pump installed.

chevyman- trust me,after i am back at work it will slow WAY down- I had off from the 21 till the 3rd of next year!!:D
Got the booster mounted-bj spacers and 409 springs in---(If you guys go to do this-Put the shaft of the spring compressor through the shock tower)
Made It SOOOO much easier!!! It is still a total pain in the butt! lol
Sits even with the back(went from under slung to over on the leaf springs.)
Started sanding spots down on the car too. God is there alot of spots-Now it is a spotted bumble bee! LOL
also have the disc brakes mounted on the spindles-Anyone else have trouble with the castle nut in the dfbrakes kit?
I cant get the castle nut down far enough to get the pin in--and yes my bearings are sitting in proper(emoryed them to death till they fit smooth as glass!)

That is one sweet looking ride!
Do you ever head out to fatboys cruise in lexington?
I used to have the 53 "seafoam" ford that shot flames.
Keith, They are some older racing buckets a friend of mine gave me-
I had 64 chevelle seats, but put these in instead- He gave me sliders that rotate for them too,so I could not refuse them! lol
I will try to see what company made them and get back to you.

Re-routed some lines-got her timed. changed to a new mallory breakerless ignition(another freebie)

tripleduece, Thanks for the comments about my car. I've never been to fatboy's in Lexington. Is it every weekend or once a month? I would like to make it sometime. I'll let you know when I can make it and maybe we can hookup.
