THANKS BOB FORD EDITOR --------------------------------------- From: "fiftiesforever@optonline.net" <fiftiesforever@optonline.net> Hello Bob and Fellow Members, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a reasonable and reliable car carrier company. My niece is relocating from southern California to the east coast for college. She now lives just north of San Diego, in La Costa. She doesn't have a classic but does need her car transported cross country and an open carrier would be fine. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. You can email me directly at fiftiesforever@optonline.net Thank you, Donna ------------------------------------- From: "Mark Shindler" <mshind57@hotmail.com> Hello Bob: Would you please post the ad below, on the next available monthly list. Thank you. Wanted: A really nice condition factory green-tinted 'E-Z-Eye' rear window glass, to fit a '57 Sport Coupe (2-door hardtop). All 1955 through 1957 Chevrolet and Pontiac rear windows are the same - as long as they are from a 2-door hardtop (all sedans, and 4-door hardtops, are different). No plain/clear ones, reproduction ones, or ones that do not have the proper 'E-Z-Eye' script, will be considered. Getting one in overall excellent condition, is my main goal. I am not interested in any that have chips or scratches on them. I do not want it shipped - I will pick it myself, so I can inspect it first before purchasing it. Since I live in the Vancouver, Canada area - I am only currently interested in ones that are located within the Pacific Northwest region - either in southwestern B.C., or roughly in the vicinities along the I-5 corridor area, anywhere between the U.S.A./Canada border, and roughly the Portland, Oregon area. Also considered, will be ones located between Seattle and Spokane along the I-90 corridor, as well as those located along the I-82 corridor to the tri-cities. Mark Shindler Phone: 604-277-0962 (If I am not home - leave a message) E-Mail: mshind57@hotmail.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- From: "tony" <tonydoggydog@yahoo.com> Fellow list readers, I am looking for my Dads old 1955 Nomad. Was all white with pearl. Had no front bumper, in its place was a black tube bumper. Had maroon paint inside the front stainless trim. No eyebrows. Had a 400 small block with a 4 speed transmission. Had 5:13 rear gears. Black interior with front bucket seats. If you know of this car or where it may be please email me.
