Default My 57 2Dr Hard Top Restoration...

Long story short this 57 2dr HT belonged to my Wife's dad whom sadly passed away 17 years ago but she was only able to get the car in her hands a month ago.
It's been sitting in a barn in Kansas and was occasionally started and run.
We have pictures of when it was pristine and unfortunately doesn't look that way now but we are going to get her back better than ever.
Crazy thing is he put what looks to be Corvette Parts, definitely the hubs, brake calipers, rotors and rear end. Not sure what engine it is but we are going to pull it and have it gone over with a fine tooth comb but im betting its from a corvette as he loved them

Here are some pictures as she currently sits, hoping to start installing the new Wilwood Kit I got for it. Just kept the hubs the same as there was no need to change them out.

I will post update pics as I get the items on the checklist complete, going to be a fun spring/summer...
Definitely have a good starting point to work with.

Will have to pull the dash and have it completely repainted..

Fortunately the wheels just needed a good cleaning/polishing..

The dash itself will not come out unless you cut the spot welds holding it in position, you can strip the dash of its components.

I agree! Looks like a well optioned car from the beginning, some very nice upgrades already done. Good luck on making her 100%.
BTW, make sure you keep the wife happy so it "stays in the family"!
