How did you get all that for 60 bucks?

I admire your ambition to keep at it!

Misalignment joints work well in a 4 link. But with the ladder bars not having pivot points at the axle, it wont allow those front heims to twist and let the suspension work in off camber angles of the rear axle. You'd have to leave the front heim loose with no lock nut, so it could turn inside the ladder bar threads and allow things to move freely at the rear. Still wont cure it completely as the upper and lower tubes will never move independently like a 4 link does.
Those are great heim joints, but buying them for ladder bars is a little wasteful, considering they can't move much in a ladder bar system. That fixed mounting points on the axle just wont allow it.

looks like that would have to be mounted horizontal to get the full range of motion degree wise?
A heim joint isn't directional in it's mounting. It has some pivot movement to allow for slight angles, but in new condition wont have any play or movement perpendicular to the heim. Of course it's best to mount heims without any angle, since they have so little angle movement, and any angle they are put in at installation will mean even less movement in use.
I'm trying to think of a situation where I might use a heim in a vertical position, but can't? I have used them in carb linkage or bell cranks where they were nearly vertical. And I have one mounted vertically on my Austin's steering shaft to support it between the firewall and steering box.

I've been keeping up here fellers and all I can say is I'm sure glad to be running coil over's and not leaf springs and ladder bars , even if I thought I had my deal figured out and done with leafs and so on all this incredible onslaught of wonderful knowledge and conflicting thoughts would have drove
me round the bend . But seriously , some of you guys are just so smart and have such an unlimited amount of really amazing gems in your collective cabezza's , I'd better quit now or y'all will be red faced with embarrassment !!!
