Sorry guys, I'm coming up with new questions everyday.
I'm still on my ordering spree and ran into a snag. I'm wanting to order all of my Lokar stuff. I'm going to get: Foot rest Dimmer pad Power brake pad BUT... I am going to run an LS1 and I have NO idea if I can use the Lokar throttle pedal with that motor The pedal I am wanting to run is the Lokar '55-'57 Chevy Midnight Billet Gas Pedal - Rubber Inserts It is located here: http://www.rjays.com/Lokar/55-57-Lokar-Pedals.htm The only cable I see is: TCP-1000LS1 - LS1/ Ramjet 36" Throttle Cable - Polished seen here: http://www.rjays.com/Lokar/Lokar-Throttle-Cables.htm Will this work? I planned on using a vette LS1 or later model Camaro or TA LS1 with the vette fuel line conversion or something? If I have the money by then, I would love to go LS2 so that's always an option as well. What say you? |

Hope this helps. You can get a lot of info on the ls1 at ls1tech.com in the conversion forum.

Good to know guys, good to know.
So I know I can run that pedal setup with an F-Body LS1 but NOT the vette unless it has the NON drive-by-wire throttle body. Are there any performance losses going to the F-Bod TB? I'll dig around on LS1 Tech as well. Thanks guys! Dan |

Looks just like the set up on the bench in front of the 55. Something that I did with the brake & clutch pedal.....I put very small washers behind each screw head to give them a little more lip to keep them on the pedals.. They hold fine.

Don't worry about too many questions, cause that's what the forum is for!!!
When I got ready to start the mock up on my 55, I posted a ton of questions! There are ALOT of knowledgeable tri5 guys on here! There are lots of new parts out there and it's nice to have someone with experience with the particular part you are questionable about! This site is the ONLY tri Chevy site I frequent! |

I used to get on Tech quite a bit when I had my dyno shop, but not so much any more.

I have a Shaner throttle body on my 99 LS1 conversion and he does great looking work. The port and polish job looks awesome and i am sure it will perform just as well on the road. He has a great reputation and is a really cool guy to chat with. If you need info, let me know. I will be on the road with my 57 in early june..!!!
Thanx DK |
