Default O.S.Mirror

In my opinion, I wouldn't use the templates included with the mirrors. Sit in you car in your natural driving position and have someone hold the mirror up to the door and position it so you can see out of it well without leaning/twisting, making sure you have clearance for the vent window to open. Gene Smith makes the best mirrors and seem to adjust farther and much easier than the other brands.

Classichevy is right on the money. If you use the factory template the post between the vent and the window will obstruct your view.

I installed the mirrors and as said I positioned them to suit me, have not had the car out yet to be sure but I am hoping we put them on in the best place. Just be sure that where ever you put them they don't interfere with the wing window, good day, Henry.

David, it's great to hear of a happy ending to the mirror placement issue.

I wish everyone a great Easter weekend as well as a safe one.
