this car belongs to a friend of mine. i maintain his car collection. this is his latest find. it's a 57 bel-air 4 door with 41,000 original miles. the car is amazing. it has the original paint and interior. it belonged to a guy with a huge (300 cars) collection who decided to thin down the heard quite a bit. all of his stuff was this caliber and many much better.

my friend that bought this car wanted to make the engine look as good as the rest of the car. i tried to talk him out of it as the car is just so original, but, he insisted so i did it. here are some before and after shots of the engine. also, some shots of the outside after i buffed and cleaned everything. this car has been sitting in the same spot since 1984. until now. it's like driving a new 57 chevy.

thanks fellas, it took me a month and a half. but i'm happy with the results. the paint has some blemishes that don't show in the pics, but, hey, it's 51 years old. it looks real good from 10 feet or maybe closer. i had to replace the tires as the old one had a bad case of the flat spot.

no, he didn't buy me anything. between my 3 and his 10 i have enough to do. i already have to rent garage space to store mine. but, if he did i could probably find room,
