Hi all
Is anyone manufacturing replacement body mount/brackets for tri-fives? The part I'm looking for is the bracket/mount that is welded to the frame as part of the frame, and onto which you set the body. I have seen many frames where these brackets are rotted off or damaged, and wanted to know if they are available as reproductions, or if you have to find a scrap frame, and cut them off. Specifically, I'm interested in the inside mounts for a '55 frame. Anyone know?

I don't think those parts are repopped. You could either make them yourself or get them off a donor frame.

I saw that CARS Inc sells these brackets for the 58 Impala convertible. It looks similar, but not the same. I suppose that in a pinch, I could start with one of those, and modify as necessary. I presume it's approximately the same height and width, and the strength should be there. If they make them for the Impala, maybe by the time I need it, they'll make if for the Tri-Fives.
