I own a 55 BAHT with a 350, 700r with a/c. My problem is a worn out radiator and I would like to order the correct replacement. The current one is in front of the core support and has a shroud with a flex fan. The car does not overheat but the Radiator has several leaks that Bars cures so far.
My question is will a standard 55 radiator work or do I need to order something else? I see that Danchuk offers a Desert Cooler for about $360. Are there different radiators that would be better for about the same price? |

Sounds like your current radiator is in the 6 cylinder position. I've got the same set up a V8 with a shroud and flex fan that runs cool. I would think you could get one cheaper then $360.

If your radiator is mounted on the front side of the support then it is in the 6cyl. position and will make a difference when you order a new one. Here is a link to the H & H page. If you don`t want the 4 core one then they offer a 3 core. Terry

Not sure what your budget is but you should be able to shop around for a better price, unless there is a particular make and unit from a supplier you are set on.
