I Need some help. How do you tell the difference between a power steering and a non power steering idler arm and a pitman arm. What are the measurements between the power steering and the non power steering arms. Thanks Bill

The idler arms are the same, the power steering pitman arm has a bolted on ball and the ball is welded to the manual pitman arm. http://www.trifive.com/garage/57%20C...nual/324-6.gif

To add to the confusion, there were 2 different Pitmans used on 55's with manual steering and maybe the other Tri-fives as well
I know I had to change the Pitman for header clearance Later Ontario55 |

The idlers are different, the PS version is 5/8" longer than the manual one.
