I thought I'd take a poll and see just who you let drive your TriFive. For me its family and only 5 close friends who are like family.

In the last 32 years I am the only person who has driven my 57, excluding one time when a close friend had to drive me home after I crashed on my dirt bike and couldn't drive. As far as future drivers, possibly one of my sons but we'll see.

Just starting the project. When done my wife and I and maybe my son are the only ones that will drive it.

I might let someone else drive it, but for now I'm the only one who does!

Me, my Grandson, & Granddaughters, & 3 Preacher friends. My other Grandson in about 10 years. My wife did back it out of the garage one time, but that's about all she's done even though she drove a '57 "back when'...

I (so far) have been the only one to drive my 55', but I have offered it to my son when he has been home on leave. He has yet to take me up on my offer but he is more than welcome if he wants. He respects the time and effort that went into the building of this car. He has driven my 52' International once and that was because I forced him.
I keep telling him that one day all of my toys will be his. I would like to see how he would (or wouldn't) take care of them. Until he is ready, I guess I will continue to drive them myself. ![]()

I'll let anyone drive my car as long as the situation is right & I trust their driving.
You all probably think I'm crazy, but 2 of my buddies have bought tri-5's since driving my car. Cruise Buddies!

Cole. Think of it like this. Because you let them drive it there are now two more TriFives going to be on the road again

LOL,
I had to borrow my dad's van this past summer. While I was gone I left him my Chevy keys just in case he needed to go out somewhere or I was delayed. Well, Dad was gone when I returned. He left a note saying he had to "step out" & would call me when he got in. I got my Chevy back the next day, fuel gauge on "E". Payback's a bitch, I couldn't even complain, 'cause how many times did I do it to him as a younger man? ![]() Seem's him & his buddies re-lived a bit of their youth. ![]()
