I've got a late model column with a double-d end that I'm thinking of using in my '55. Does anyone have a link to a how-to or a brief description of how to adapt the new column to the old box? How are the couplers typically attached to the cut-off steering shaft coming out of the factory box?
Thanks, Jim |

You can grind a double D on the shaft and use a double D to double D coupler or rag joint. http://www.who-sells-it.com/cy/borge...-fullsize.html
