I've been rewiring the 55 and following the wiring schematics found in the tech section and service diagrams. In the schematics for the parking lamp it shows only a single violet wire as power. For some reason, my origional lamps and wiring harness has a second dark blue wire? What would this wire be controlling as far as the lamp is concerned? Most dark blue wires in the schematic is in the voltage regulator, generator and oil sending circuits. Nothing shows up for lighting. Any ideas?

The dark blue is for the right front turn signal. The turn signals was optional in 55, so the wiring diagram is not included in the rest of the wiring diagram. Here is the turn signal diagram....http://www.trifive.com/garage/55%20C...nual/100-4.gif and the connectors....http://www.trifive.com/garage/55%20C...nual/100-3.gif
