Default LED Tail Lights

Been looking at LED tail lights for the '57....I've narrowed it down to three choices....The Dakota Digitals or Technostalgia tail light kits, or just LED bulbs....Anyone have a preference between the three and for what reason?...The '57 tail light area is so small and I'm looking for the best improvement for the money....Thanks for the help

I run the full lens with no back up lights on my 55 and the only LEDs I can find are the half size. I don't think anyone makes the full size that I need, so I just use the bulb.

i got the dakota digitals for my 55. been busy and lazy at the same time so not installed yet. hopefully in the next week or so. i went with the DD's (well not for that reason ) but because i don't particularly like seeing all the small, separate LED's like modern cars. the DD version is like a single LED in the stock location.

i bought the special blue dot lens that moves the dot up about 3/4" to be directly in front of the light so i'm hoping that gives me a great look.

however, since you're looking for LED's for a 57, the DD model for the 57 is unique in itself.

will post some pix when i get off my bu^%.

happy easter.

I voted for the bulb. I purchased the bulbs for my 55. I tried it with and without the flat reflector lens. I chose to use the reflector lens. They're brighter than the stock bulb and They work without any special relay or flasher. Cost was probably my deciding factor.

Hi David.

I voted for Technostagia and they works great, but i bought them before i saw that Spaghetti Engineering one of our sponsors made some really nice LED lights.

Check out this video, its a 55 but gives you an idea.

The Spagetti's looked nice....However at $200 bucks a pop, they were too pricey for me.
