power steering took a crap a few years ago, been driving without it but it makes a lot a grinding noise, is there an easy way to convert it over to just a manual steer. Also getting a severe vibration when driving over 15 mph.
thanks |

I assume you're talking about factory power steering.
If that's what you have, to convert to manual you need a manual steering center link, a manual steering pitman arm and idler arm, and a manual steering inner tie rod and adjuster sleeve for the driver side. The steering box is the same. If you have vibrations you may need to repair your steering box, tie rods, ball joints, and control arm bushings too if they are not in good shape. |
