My brother went to Carlisle one year without me and came back with an unused original book of matches from a car dealership from 1956 that was a sales promo item. It has an ad for the 56 Chevy on one side and the dealers name and info on the other. It is very cool and it sits on the front of my open ashtray on display!

Many of these flyers are reproductions of originals. Finding an original is quite a find. Usually you can tell by the paper used.

I also have an original dealer flyer for the 1953 Corvette in as new condition. I have owned it since 1969 and it sits in my safe along with other important papers.

I have some of these from Life Magazines, they were ads as well as flyers. I laughed at the 55 one that said "Gayer than the first bright flowers" LOL
