Default car falls off hoist

Hey Guys
A week or so ago someone posted a picture on Tr-5 of the Camaro falling off a hoist. I cannot seem to find it to show to a friend. Has anyone got a link or the story and the picture they can email me?

Thanks
Doug

Doug, this is the thread, but the photos are no longer out there. It must have been a news article of something.

Years ago I worked for my dad. His company did repairs and instulations of equiptment at gas stations. We did a lot of car hoists and I was called out to deal with cars that came off the hoists. Back then when the old in-ground lifts would get old and leak, the owners would let the oil level get too low.
The lift would go up nice and slow and the last 2 feet or so,they would shoot up like a rocket.
It was a sad thing to see and was no easy task getting the car off the lift.
We had a guy with an old Air Force wrecker that would come out and sling the vehicle and lift it up and out. Not a thing for the weak-hearted.-KB
It looks like the lift arms are all the way down on one side and the others are almost all the way up. That's why I buy ONLY rotary lifts. Cheap lifts scare the heck outa me.

not a pretty site, nor a good advertisement for Sears.
