Gentlemen, here's mine. Info, and an example of the original color would be greatly appreciated.
GM style 56-1011 Body AG441 trim #566 Paint #691-A part of the tag is covered in mud so I might have missed something. thank you from Greenville, SC. ![]() |

The AG does stand for Atlanta. The VIN and cowl tag are different. The VIN uses "A" only, the 1953-58 cars use AG on the cowl, 59-64 cars use AT on the cowl. All still use just the A on the VIN tag though. |

Q,.... if the top was a different color, originally, (Indian ivory) where and how would I know for sure?

If it was originally a two tone India Ivory upper body and Nassau blue lower body the trim tag would show #707 for a paint code.
This is the same as my car in the photo at left. 210bob |
