Went to the parts store to buy a bench bleeder kit. They dont sell em separately....You only get one if you buy a new Master cylinder.
Is there a way to bench bleed the MC w/out a BB kit?

They sell them at my local NAPA, O'reilley, and Auto Zone for around $8. If you have some short metal lines that fit in your master cylinder, stick on some vac line, loop it into the resovoirs, and pump the crap out of the brake pedal. I always bleed mine on the car. If there's shiny paint close by, I cover everything with old towels.

Why do you need a kit to do this? Seems like all you need is a couple of barb fittings and some inexpensive vinyl tubing or just some short brake lines bent back to the MC reservoir. Probably $2 worth of stuff.

When I got my new master cylinder, the instructions that came with it said I could bench bleed it by simply plugging up both ports, and then pumping the slowly like you would if you had the tubing setup.
I tried it that way, and it actually worked. This was on a single MC setup, not sure if it would work for a dual setup.
