Brother and I were just talking about some of the things, that you used to see in filling stations, that you wouldn't see today. One was an "air tower". It had numbers that displayed like the old pumps, and you selected the air pressures with a crank on the side. The hose was hung on the front or side, and as the air went into the tire, it "dinged." What do you recall ?

The old crank gas pumps. You had to crank them to get the dial back to zeros.

How about driving in to get gas. You would drive over an air hose which rang a bell inside to let the attendant know he had a customer.

Does anyone remember Fina's slogan of "Pink Air in 66" or getting a flatware place setting with a fillup ?
