I just purchased the 3100 series emblems that go on the front/side of my 1955 chevy truck fenders. My assembly manual does not tell me the location to install these emblems. Does anybody know, or have the proper location where these emblems go on the front fenders?
Any help would be great Thanksrg55 ![]() |

If no one jumps in, when I get home tonight would be happy to measure and take pics for you. My emblems are off so you can see where the holes should be.

Oops, I got to thinking that the 55 emblems are lower on the fender than the 57. so I can't help you, but heres a pic, I'm pretty sure this is correct for 55.

Okay I just went out and measured this for you. If you are talking about the 55 front fenders side emblems. These are measurements for the center of the hole. They are 2 3/8 below the body line. From the back of the fender my measurements for the three holes are 3 1/8, 13 1/4, and 25 5/8. Now my holes are closed so I had to eye the center of the hole but they are very close. I hope this helps. My driver side fender is a 55 and my passenger is a 56 so I closed all the holes.

Thanks, BAM55. I used your measurements and drilled the holes in the fenders and the emblems fit great. Once the truck is finished being painted I will put some pictures on line to show you.
Thanks, rg55 |
