WE all know they have NO class and sound like bumblebees trapped in a coffee can !
The look on their faces as that old gas guzzler blows their doors off is worth the price of admission alone

When my son was about 16, a buddy of his came over and had this Toyota Supra turbo car that he claimed was really fast. At the time I had a 79 Malibu with a BB. The Malibu ran low 12's w/street tires (11.90's w/stickys). Well the kid finally stepped in his lunch box and said his Toyota would smoke that primered old hunk. We went out on a back road, and I let him take off first, blew past him, almost came to a stop, let him go by me and nailed him again. He said the problem was my car was so loud he couldn't hear when to shift, I looked in his car and said " you mean the tach doesn't work?" All I got was a blank stare. I think he learned his lesson.

I buy American cars. All the others can crash into aircraft carries, as far as I'm concerned. :eek:

Around here they blow all that money on those high dollar mad wasper can mufflers and forget to paint their cars all one color. One even had a cold air induction coming into the slots on his bumpers. The problem was he didn't have a front bumper

. I guess that's for his next birthday.
I don't worry about those wind up toy cars. What you have to watch out for around here is BB S-10's that will rip you a new one or a black Malibu that runs the streets. Now that I think about it, around my town, you don't see alot of ricers. I see a few mean 60'2 and 70's moosetangs, a coupld 57's, several other classics. Man, I love the country.

Just sold my 08 Honda 270 hp coupe with 6 speed stick (rode to hard and noisy too). It tested out at 0-60 in 5.8 seconds, and 1/4 mile in 13.8 seconds. About like a 1967 427 Corvette in most magazine tests back in the day. I think my 57 245 hp would stay even with a stock Honda 4 cyl.?

I would still take a 67 Vette over a 08 honda,,,and a 57 245 hp Chevy over a 4cyl honda,,,

,,Yep it would be an easy choice.
