Default terminals connectors loose on fuel gauge

The brown connectors on the back of my fuel gauge won;t stay connected. (loose) Is there a fix for that? Can I crimp them a little to make a tighter fit? I wanted to ask before I tried.

I would squeeze the wire terminals slightly with pliers and keep checking the fit until tight enough. Dave

Default Fuel gauge connectors

Piston can, I permanently removed my gauge cluster for a autometer billet setup. I just looked at the original connections and crimping the terminals just a wee bit should solve your problem. Or, you could silver solder some wire on the gauge prong itself (tougher to do).
