Well gee...., been meaning to introduce myself. I have been lurking for quite a while. WOW, great forum filled with a great group of trifive lovers that willing share their knowledge with each other.
I bought my 57 in 1981, just wanted to build me a hot rod. Paint was on it, interior is white diamond tuck & roll / roll & pleat (I couldn't decide which one i wanted so the upholstery guy did both). Rebuilt the drive train, 400SB, 4 speed. I really haven't been driving it much the last 10 years or so. Made up my mind i was going to drive it or sell it. I am having a few problems with it that I think are fuel related - E10. I'll probably post more seeking some advice about this problem but I'll try to post in the appropriate forum. Well anyway, intros are out of the way. I'll try to contribute to this great forum as time permits. |

Thanks for the welcome,
San Angelo, sorry West Texas does cover a lot of space. Moved here from Amarillo about 10 years ago. I sure don't miss the winters up there. Absolutely brutal, but they do have a lot of old car clubs and fans there. Still keep track of them: http://www.panhandlecouncilofcarclubs.com/ Pretty neat what they put together up there. President of a car club sits on the "Panhandle Council" and all of the clubs pool their resources together for car shows, cruises, etc.. Works really well. Right before I left their Make a Wish car show was the single largest fund raiser for them in the nation. |
