I ran across a deal on a good 57 the other day, it is a turn key factory bel air car. It is a 2dr post sedan that is also a factory v8 car, with its original colors of harbor and larkspur blue. Original spinner caps decent non original interior. It would make some one a very good cruise in type 57 or if you waunted to make it a show car it would be an easy resto. Every thing is there and in good driver quality condition. I ALMOST FORGOT IT HAS A/C. Makes me wish i could by it but until i sell something i have too many toys for now. So being that the owner is a friend of mine i thought i would pass along the info to you guys. If any one is interested i think he is asking 16,900 for it and i have his phone number. The car is in Tennessee and it is the best trifive buy i have seen in a long while.

I think he does have it on craigs list randy, i also have pictures of it that i had taken at his house a couple weeks ago. I was going to buy it, because of the bargain it is and the fact i have known him all my life and he can be trusted as a man of his word. But i had already made an offer on the 55 i now have and the 55 owner accepted my offer before i could buy the 57, so i ended up with a 55 instead. But i can give his number to any one interested it is on either atlanta or nashville craigs list. Or i will be happy to send what pics i have along with his contact info. Again just trying to help out my fellow tri fivers, not looking for anything in return.

Jesse, i went back to craigs list and yes that is the correct car. I think for a good running and driving 57 that looks that good with working a/c that the car is a buy. Whats your thoughts ?

I am sure he will sell it soon, i dont know anywhere you could find a car in that condition for that kind of money. If i hadnt just bought the 55 it would be in my garage now. He is in the same position i am in too many cars and out of room. Thats the only reason its for sale. If the 57 hard top he is just finishing building sells first he may keep the post car.
