Default 57 cowl upper winshield pillar

Guys, I found a replacement piece somewhere that consists of the lower cowl and upper pillar left and right sides. I can't find it again and was wondering if any of you could direct me to a site that has it. The piece consists of the lower cowl up to the curve in the door area and to the roof pillar. I don't even know if I'm calling the piece by the correct name or not so I included a shot of the area here. Thanks, Marcus.

I don't know that they are available yet, but if they are making reproduction 57 cars, someone should have the parts. There are three layers there, so if it is showing in the outer, more than likely the center layer will need repair as well. I had a similar repair I did and used some donor parts from a salvage yard:

Default A Pillar Assembly

Hi Robert & Darrin, thanks guys for your feedback. Robert, I was looking at your segment on replacing this particular part of the windshield area earlier tonight and this may be the way I will approach my repair. Darrin, thanks for the heads up on checking out Goldstar Auto for the replacement part that I was looking for. Alas, I didn't find it there, but I did locate it at the link below under sheet metal. I hope this link works. The part is kinda expensive but it looks like a solid fix for this problem. Thanks, Marcus.

Marcus, that looks like a nice piece and should take care of the issues you have. Hopefully it comes out for the other two years as well, as it would do well fixing different problem areas.......a pillar and inner cowl

Marcus, thanks for finding these pieces. I need to replace the top (by the windshield-by the vent window) in my 57 HT. I had been pondering where to find such a piece. This will also take care of the bottom of the A-pillar too. Now to get bracing in before lifting body off the frame for full pan and rockers. Thanks again.
