Hello (again) from a Newbie! I'm the guy who picked up my '56 BelAir Sedan w/265/Powerglide yesterday an am enroute to my home in El Dorado, AR. I've posted an issue I'm having with trans shift linkage but THIS ONE DEAL WITH the Temp Guage. The guage does not work but the engine is not overheating. Guy I bought from just replaced sensor and water pump and indicates he has a new guage he'll send me. How difficult is the guage to install?

Also, is there a '56 Chevy Microfiche on this or any site you may know of that could be helpful to me as I work to re-do my car. (BTW, my car was restored about 5-6 yrs ago but allowed to sit and it has some surface rusting.)

welcome to the site and good luck with your car, temp gauge not hard to do, alot on line manuels here, check out library. rick

I'll check the library. I'm trying to learn my way around this site and am confident that it's gonna be just the resource I'm gonna neet. I only hope that I'll be able to become part of the solutions rather than the problem!!! LOL!
