I was having the typical over heating problem on my 57 Chevy. The car would run correct in the winter and at normal speed. In stop and go traffic in the summer it would heat up over 200'.
I took peoples advise and installed a shroud over the winter. We finally got some heat here in the Northwest. I was driving in traffic yesterday and the temp gauge hardly moved. The shroud did the trick for me. I even noticed in winter that the temp was lower and registered around 160' to 170'.
