Default Radio antenna

Can anyone tell me where the stock radio antenna is located on a 1957 belair?

With no radio-no antenna.(All have a hole in the rear brace in the fender to go by).
With basic radio-right front fender.
Optional antenna-right rear fender.
Optional antennas-both rear fenders.

There should be a clean through hole in the top of the cowl, just ahead of the pass door. If your car didn't have an antenna originally, then this hole may have a rubber plug in it?

Also. A lot of cars got an antenna added after they were assembled. Probably by the dealership. These antenna were installed in a hole drilled in the front fender. Not through the cowl.

PS. I've seen a couple '57s with the antenna in the driver side front fender. Not the pass front fender. Not idea if they were dealer or previous owner installed?

Here is the installation instructions. .... http://mars.ark.com/~babytrkr/accman/987603-152.html
Since we don't have a template, I measured from the edge of the fender straight forward to the rear point of my antenna bezel and it's 2.050".
