I am looking for a ready to bolt in rear end to replace stock 56 rear. Does any one know if any of our sponsors here on tri five offers a 9" or 12 bolt newly built and ready to install in a trifive ?

I'm not a huge fan but Ecklers has 9" ford rears in their catalog all set up to bolt right in.

My 56's 61 olds rear end is just about done, so I'm gonna bite the bullet and go for a moser. I'm not a rear end expert (I'm more of a headlight man) so something brand spankin new, overkill, and pretty much bolt on seems right up my alley. Plus choosing gear and length with solve a few more issues I have with tire rub and highway rpm. Also, when I get around to realizing my crate big block/tremec 5 sp od dream it will be up to the task with just a gear swap.

Thanks Don, i have already checked with the 9 " factory and their price is right around $ 3,500 to my door ready to bolt in. But i had rather go with a 12 bolt in the same manner. Hopefully for less money.

Started tearing into the 12 bolt this afternoon Mickey, it is a 256 ratio. A little too high geared for my needs. I am thinking 3:42 would work better with my set up.
