I have the 57 low and high tone horns which are genuine Delco Remy 325 & 326 which did not work at all, so I have removed the rivets and find that the electromagnet coils appear to be shorted or fried. Does anyone know of a supplier for these coils? The rest of the horns are perfect, so it's a shame to abandon them.

if you cant find a rebuilder to do the repair , you might try a starter altenator rebuilder that rewinds their own motors, they may have the wire or something close that they could rewind the coil for you, or try hemmings i think they have horn rebuilders in the service section.

Thanks for the info, I have been told here in New Zealand of one gentleman who is presently in USA who rebuilds Trifive horns, so I'll wait until he is back. If need be, I will have a go at rewinding it myself, I used to rewind slot car motors when I was a kid, so this can't be too different.

i dont think rewinding it will be that hard, its finding wire close to what youll need and im not sure what they used for a coating on the wire to insult it
