Question Distributor hold down clamp

Hi- Does anyone have a pic or schematic of the Distributor hold down clamp for a 57' 283 ? What I have now is a heavy wire part shaped like a slingshot, a big round flat washer on top of it with a bolt through it. That big round flat washer looks out of place on there. Is there some other type of "gizmo" that is used in place of that washer?

I think the wire type hold down started around 1963. This is more like the original style. Chevy used a few different styles over the years from 55 up.

The one for the wire had tabs that went down on each side of the wire as I recall

The one pictured is available at most automotive stores on their display for Mr Gasket type chrome do-dads.

Hi Saquili, I think I might have one of the original clamps in my workshop. I'll look in the next week or so and let ya know.
