My 1956 210 4 Door two-tone had the door jambs painted the roof and lower color. The two colors were Pinecrest (top and lower) and Sherwood Green (middle). As you can see, the doors were also sprayed the lighter color and then the darker color was painted over it. The condition of this 56 was original.

The inside trunk and firewall were both the darker Sherwood Green. Since middle color is lighter it may change the door jamb combo. We should probably have a member with a light middle color show a picture here.
in addition, you will need to talk with your painter about the order of the color application. I doubt he is going to want to shoot white over the black. ![]() |

Daleo56...that color combo makes sense with your 210 but with black and white it would be little strange. Any members with reversed combo? I have seen some 210´s with black dash, no matter what the exterior color is...this is confusing.

Finn,
Looking around at my other sources I can see that 210's with India Ivory "seem" to have had the middle Ivory painted on the firewall, the front door shell, rear door shell, the rear quarter door jamb and full quarter and the outside and inside of the trunk. I am still looking for the front pillar tape lines. I am still looking for decent pictures of original cars to confirm the door jamb paint schemes. If anyone else has pictures I would like to see them too. Tim |

I do not know how to send pictures here. If Daleo 56 will send me his email, I will send him some photoes of an original Sherwood Green and Pincrest Green paint scheme. Ken

Ken,
I have the 210 with the Sherwood and Pinecrest. We are looking for a paint scheme with dark, light, dark such as the Black Onyx and India Ivory. It seems when the center color is a Ivory that the door jamb lines are different. Tim |
