I ordered $2500 in parts before Thanksgiving, took about 2 weeks to get. After inspecting the boxes I found some parts missing (Lower control arms) I called them to see what happened, they say sorry they are on back ordered. They should go out next week. Of course they didn't. In the mean time I realize they sent me the wrong springs for my QA shocks They said if I will send them back (at my expence) they will send the correct sping after the wrong ones arrive. So today I figured I'd make my weekly call to see why my control arms still are not here, seeings how they said they would ship last thursday for sure. I get, sorry they didn't make out to shipping on thursday and now we are doing inventory so nothing will ship out now untill the 3rd. I say great, What about my spings? Tracking shows you received them on tuesday. I'm told they still haven't been through the inspection prosess so they can be approved and reshiped. Cpp thanks for the great customer sevice, and enjoy my money its the last you see. Jerry

That sucks you had such bad luck with them....
If a part is back ordered, i feel they should tell you when you purchase the part instead of stringing you along and taking your money. ![]() Rick |

I ordered parts on thursday and got a email on sat.that they are closed till the first of the year.Whould have been nice to know it then!!!

wow....I had the same thing happen to me with the springs for the QA-1 shocks with CPP (after I called to place my order and specified what I needed, along with a follow up email too)......That was the last thing I ordered from them. I did get a free t-shirt

If they keep that up they won't have any customers left. Try going up the ladder and ask to talk to someone higher. It wasn’t your fault that they sent they the wrong items and you shouldn’t have to pay for their mistake.
Hope it all works out for you. Just don't give up. |

Yeh it really sucks I was going to order there power steering box after I got the front end back togeather, now I need to find anothere one. Any suggestions?

I have learned to never order without talking to someone and always ask about "back order." Your sit-rep is definitely a bummer.

At the risk of being scolded, this is typical for these guys. I'm not sure the order takers can even tell if an item is in stock. You should always ask though and never assume anything.
A question never asked is always unanswered. Years ago, I ordered a CPP500 box and a MPV-1 master cylinder before they were shipping either product. They were always up front with me when I asked about the orders. Last edited by Rick_L; 12-29-2011 at 07:14 PM.. |

I have had a master cylinder on order from them for more than 2 months. I have been given 3 different shipment times.

I don`t know the relationship Otis has with cpp,but if too many people start bellyacheing about thier orders or service with this co. they may not what to support Tri Five,but I hope they take this to heart,the economy is not what it was and one would think every customer is important and reorders more important,just saying!!!
